A Regency Chess, Backgammon & Games Table in the manner of John LcLean

A beautifully crafted Regency games table in the manner of John McLean in mahogany with brass gallery, a complete set of playing pieces and provenance.  This superb set comprises ornately carved 19th C Barleycorn bone red and cream chess pieces, drafts/backgammon pieces, 5 die with original leather shakers, a domino set in original box, a whist set and a cribbage board.  There are also beautifully handwritten instructions for the playing of Boston Poker.  The most charming item in the collection is the lovely letter of bequest from an Aunt to her Nephew, written in 1929.
