Liberty's child's chair
From Gear Antiques
A aesthetic movement collector's piece. A small chair for Liberty's of London designed by Ford Maddox Brown and made by William Watt. (Literature readily available online). Retailed between 1971-84 in the Liberty's catalogue. It is very similar to William Morris Sussex chair bar a few design changes to the leg (also designed by Maddox Brown). This example in beech wood is in excellent condition with as new original rushing. It is rare to find, and actually entirely usable.
