A framed set of six 19th century hand-coloured engravings of blue birds eggs by Henry Leonard Meyer (1797-1865) from Coloured Illustrations of British Birds and their Eggs, one of the most important surveys of British birds and their eggs. It was published in nine folio volumes by G W Nickisson 1842-1850. They are mounted and presented in hand-painted pale blue bobble frames and non-reflective glass. The price is for the set but they are available individually for £300.
