A pair of pretty 19th century faience wall pockets in the form of a stylized cornucopia, painted with floral sprays manufactured by Faïencerie de Gien. The manufacturer's stamp on the base was used 1866-1875.
The Faïencerie de Gien was created in 1821 in Gien (Val de Loire), in the heart of France and still exists today.
