A set of six hand-painted 19th century French earthenware plates with a scalloped edge decorated with Chinese figures.
The Faïencerie des Islettes, located in Lorraine, near Luneville is part of the great tradition of French ceramics, through its style and colors. The Bois d'Epense factory known as Islettes was one of the most important in the east, from 1765 to 1848 founded by François Bernard (1739 -1801).
