A stunning late 19th Century Italian Venetian cobalt blue and cut glass mirror. Circa 1890.
The foxed rectangular plate surrounded with a cushion frame of etched mirror glass. With a scrolling foliate design interspersed with panels of deep cobalt blue, applied with smaller cut glass panels edged with spirally fluted glass rods and flower heads. Distressed foxed mirror glass throughout.
A beautiful and highly decorative mirror. NB. one rod of glass missing.
