A very fine example of antique Chinese embroidery, this very large piece stands at well over two metres in height. The central image is of two storks exquisitely embroidered sitting amongst flowers and foliage. This surrounded by multiple birds, bugs and butterflies on a background of high quality pale cream silk. The condition is remarkable with very little colour loss and no damage. Embroidered in China for the European market. Newly framed.
