A Late 17th/Early 18th C French Finely Carved Oak Two Door Armoire
From Streett Marburg
A very fine example of an early French oak armoire of good proportions with an unusually large overhang to the cornice The carving is especially well executed and delicate with oak and acanthus leaves, flowers and swags. The two side hung drawers indicate it's great age. The interior has been painted dark red and is shelved.
