A lovely French marriage armoire with unusual carving of a great chateau and the name Cecile Poline, reputedly one of Louis XV's mistresses.  The exagerted cornice, the scale and the ornate carving through show a high level of skill and quality.  The interior comprises four shelves and two drawers.

Condition: Very good antique condition.
