An Early 19th C Silver Work Embroidery on Silk With Contemporary Perspex Frame
From Streett Marburg
An exceptionally pretty and beautifully trashed embroidered silk has been mounted in a high quality contemporary perspex frame. The raised silver work embroidery depicts a pair of central birds surrounded by butterflies and dragonflies. Each corner is decorated with a large flower and tassel. We have deliberately left this piece unrestored feeling that its delicate beauty is part of its story.
