Two Framed Pairs of 19th C Chinoiserie Embroidery on Pale Yellow Silk

Two pairs of delicately embroidered silk on silk panels depicting peacocks, roosters, and pheasants in amongst foliage and flowers.  These would have been embroidered for the European market and the charming subject matter chosen accordingly.  We have had these conserved and framed.

Origin: China 

Circa: 1860

Condition: Good antique condition.  Conservation and stabilisation has been undertaken.  Slight age related darkening to the tops of the silks.
