C19th ebonised mahogany , amboyna veneered and gilt brass mounted circular table. Typical of the work of Edwards and Robertson in the final quarter of the C19th. I particularly like the unusual form and amboyna inlay that resembles tortoiseshell veneers. Line inlaid with brass edging. Not a table one can treat roughly.
