A Louis xv commode dating to 1750. Solid carved fruit wood with original undamaged porphyry type hand carved thick marble top. Two drawers with original hand cut ormolu mounts. The normal historic worm evidence is present and is in very good condition with a good even colour and nice glow. An unusual size of chest but very easy to house.
