French  1810  First Empire under Napoleon. Three drawer chest with original grey black fossil marble - the walnut body front faced with  faded figured mahogany. and nice original ebonised feet. This chest is in a good solid usable condition but has lived and can be described as in country house condition - so  unrestored. Two  bits of corner veneer are missing from the drawers . I personally prefer like the look of decayed elegance which also allows for a reasonable selling price.
