Faded mahogany English C19th. This is a larger usable desk with plenty of room and excellent hight. Neither small and useless or ridiculously large this desk is well worn in all the right places and has had its leather replaced. Rounded edges and worked back mean it can sit in the centre of a room. Mahogany lined drawers mean they run well. A couple of handle replacements. This is not a flashy hard edged expensively veneered desk but it has quality and a softer more mellow country house appeal. Breaks into two Peds and top.
