Published by John & Paul Knapton, after Sir Anthony van Dyck C18th, c1745. Set of 8 original plates of various historical English figures mounted framed and glazed. Frames are in excellent condition. Engravings have various degrees of foxing to the edges and age but are in excellent condition with no holes or tears and well mounted - mounts are identical but for a subtle difference in colour -5 are beige card and 3 are light grey. Frames are in very good condition with wear commensurate with age. Look fab as a set hung side by side but equally happy to sell individually.
